Counted
Every day of every season,
Is filled with purpose and a reason.
From the stars among the sky,
To all the questions that start with-why?
All my tears that I have cried…
And tears of others that He has dried.
From the hairs upon my head,
To all the words I have said.
All the moments in an hour…
Connect to One with all the power.
Are you counted as a stranger?
Or are you family to One born in the manger …
Numbered are all of the days
Where you have been known to give Him praise.
How many will ever come to understand
True joy in reaching out to grab His hand?
Will you be thankful for God’s love?
Sent to us directly from Heaven above…
There can not ever be a disguise
When standing before God’s very own eyes.
Counted are all the moments in your life
That were used for His glory or used to create strife.
While there is still time to make it count
Why not tell others about His sermon on the mount?
Going up or down, doing wrong or right…
I prefer bright light instead of cold darkness of night.
Count all your blessings while you pray
Thank the Lord for His true way.
A way where you can help others to see
The only Door that leads to a blessed Eternity.
