Year in, year out,
Summer, autumn,
Winter then spring.
The rhythm of life.
Ocean tides,
Wash in, wash out,
Seas follow the
Pull of the moon.

Breath of life,
Inhale, exhale,
Chests rise and fall,
Gases exchange.
The rhythm of life.
Families,
Generations,
Infant, child, man,
Old age then death,
The rhythm of life.
Why do I strive
To achieve in my own strength?
Spiritual pride,
Fighting against
The rhythm of life.
Believer,
Trust the master,
Work, rest, fear, pray,
Obey, rejoice.
