It's amazing how things can come to mind
how you didn't take the time to ask
Why wasn't some things put on the list
and go to God about that task
For when the sharks begin to bite at my feet
teeth more sharper than before
As I did watch them circle around my frame
just another problem at my door
I do believe they had grew more teeth
with jaws that can draw me in
Oh they can almost drive you up the wall
it is like they have no end
In my little house boat I sat and watch
as they came to take me out
But the humor side of me just stood in wait
and decide to cast off doubt
Down inside my soul I had felt that stir
I knew what my heart must do
To keep me from being those big sharks bait
yet the answer I still had no clue
Now as the sun was going down I took a hold
and remeber I had failed the test
But thank God for having some humor too
on him I can always rest
