Lord wrap your loving arms around me
let them hold me oh so tight
Lord let grace and mercy be my cover
to shield me through the night

Lord send down your Holy Spirit
let it flow from heaven above
Help me to endure, each day that comes
just bind me with your love

Let not my heart to ever be afraid
Lord shine down your light on me
And keep my soul, like a blooming flower
this, I do ask of thee

Lord your word is strong like a tower
it's a place where I can hide
Your in-dwelling spirit will comfort me
for in my heart it does abide

Through the darkest hours, it is well
in the mountains there is peace
Through the valley's below, I do have joy
and when there is war it will cease

Lord secure this vessel that you have made
let it go through, what lies before
Just make it strong with your precious love
for Salvation made you the door

So as I lay my head down to rest
my heart it will not fear
For you have given your words of promise
and each one I hold so dear
