I'm so tired, but then why not
For yesterday was my day off

And nothing can tire me better out
Then to sit & slouch all about

But today will be a better day
For I'll clock in & that's to say

My boss gets paid a tidy sum
To manage me 'til the work is done

So work I will 'til I'm revived
For this is my ridiculous life
