Letter to Daddy God

I will rest in You. I will drink deep of Your Living Water.
Drawing near to You, Daddy God is the most important thing in my life.
I cannot seem to get “enough” of You, My Father. My desire is for an
intimate relationship with You, My Lord. Please, bless me with a Spirit
of Wisdom and Revelation into the Knowledge of You.

I want to know more of Your character and heart. The experiences
of Your Power working on my behalf and in the lives of those
I love are developing a more mature faith in me. I want to know how
to move the heart of God, not for selfish reasons, but for Your honor
and glory. I want to see Your kingdom advance and the works of
the enemy destroyed. I am tired of the devastation that the enemy
tries to bring to lives, especially knowing that You purchased our
salvation, healing and deliverance through Calvery’s flow of
Your precious blood.

There is a gradual healing taking place in my mind and emotions.
Deep emotional scars are being dealt with by the renewing of my
mind through Your Word. I cannot go back and hit rewind like
all of the emotional woundings did not occur, but I will trust You
completely. I cannot live a day without You; I cannot live one hour,
one minute or one second, without Your Love and Grace. I am so
very thankful that I do not have to ever miss You. You are only a
prayer away.

Deep in the dark night, I call to You and You are there on the spot.
I am so humbled that the God of all Wonders would fellowship with
me. One touch from You dispels all fears and pain. Your presence is
so sweet. I am thankful for Your tender, gentle compassion. Breathe in
me. Shine in me. Live through me. I love You, Dearest Daddy God and it
is in Your Son’s Name that I offer this prayer. Amen

I will trust You completely. Therein lies the precious answer to everything we face in this dream, we call life. Heaven is the reality we shall wake up to and we shall Him face to face! Your letter is such an encouragement to me, at this time, especially. :) What a cherished daughter Daddy God has in you. Thanks for letting me take a peek into your letter of love! May the Father continue to melt you, mold you, fill you, and use you, ALL for His glory and your betterment. Love ya, Sis!

Were it my place to say what does and does not please the Lord, I would say His heart is most touched by your prayer and prayers like it... prayers that cry out from the deep places of our hearts to know Him most intimately, hearts most thankful, most humble. Oh, how I share in your prayer. Yes, Daddy God is omnipotent and faithful to meet all our needs... and beyond our needs, for He knows the depths of our hearts better than we do. Beautifully done, Mitzi, pressing your readers into the desire for intimacy with our Father.

Mitzi, You have expressed so beautifully what we all feel and what we all would want to say to "Daddy God". And, just as you wrote, He is only a prayer away! Imagine such close contact with the One who created us and all that is around us! He rejoices when we seek Him as you have with your heartfelt words - this is a heart prayer, for sure! Love, Peggy

O what a beautiful prayer to our Heavenly Father! It's also my heartfelt desire to know God intimately in my life and to live for Him moment by moment.

...to move the heart of God Oh, to be so intuned, Father, to your perfect will that our hearts move as one. To cry out, on the behalf of ours, glorifying Your name. May this ever be the focus of my heart....
