I wrote this a few weeks before my college graduation, knowing I would be departing that life, and those friends.
-Bittersweet-
Immersed in a book
Pages turn, cannot put it down
I marvel at the author
Perfectly written, well-constructed
And I sit, taken by the characters
Drawn in and fully engaged
Until a pivotal chapter
After the context
Before the climax
I pause
Recognize the importance
Fully realize its significance
My life, this chapter
Rapidly approaching its end
Quickly coming to a close
But I, rather than shut the book
Or lay it on a shelf
Expectantly await the next chapter
This book, my life
Perfect author, flawlessly constructed
So I breathe deeply each chapter
Each page, every line and word
Until one day its covers will close
But I will forever be grateful
For this chapter
If you died today, are you absolutely certain that you would go to heaven? You can be! TRUST JESUS NOW
