When to Praise
Most of us have no problem
Praising God when things are good.
But we need to learn to praise Him
When things are not going as they should.
When we seem to be struggling
With our health and other things,
If we just start to praise Him
We can feel the peace that His love brings.
Although we may never understand
Why God doesn’t choose to heal right now,
We must continue to offer Him praise
For we know His love for us will endure somehow.
If we struggle with anxiety
Or doubt invades our heart,
Start praising God and have faith
That He will surely do His part.
If we pray but see no answer
We must not give up on the Lord.
We must praise and worship Him
And He will answer; He said so in His Word.
So whether things are going well
Or our life is filled with strife,
We should offer God our praise and worship
And thank Him each day of our life.

Thanks for reminding me to praise God even when I don't feel like it. I know that He is always there even when I can;t see Him. Praising Him brings Him closer to my heart and to the hope I need from Him. Thanks! This was a really beautiful poem..
Hi Carol! I so agree with you about praise. It is wonderful to praise at anytime, but when we are down, it sure can lift us up. Thank you for sharing this with us. Blessings, Sharon
