A Little Taste of Calvary
When burdens seem too heavy
And no one seems to care
Remember Jesus came to earth,
His cross, for us, to bear.
Thank you, Lord, that it's for me,
A little taste of Calvary.
When the night seems long and lonely,
And no one hears you cry,
Remember Him Who long ago,
Came, for us, to die!
Thank you, Lord, that it's for me,
A little taste of Calvary.
When the pain of grief surrounds you,
And alone you must carry on,
Remember our weary Saviour,
Tarrying alone in prayer, until dawn.
Thank you, Lord, that it's for me,
A little taste of Calvary.
