There is a land beyond the veil
My soul would long to see
As dreams of this world surely fail
Its presence comforts me
To know there's more than this life yields
As daily we must plod
Makes easier the hand life deals
And smooth the path we trod
To know the love that there awaits
I cast off every care
To know we never walk alone
He hears our every prayer
I long to see the face of God
No more this earth to roam
I'll soon shake off this earthly sod
And find the true road home
