Did You Know Jesus Made No Watering Can?*
By Gregory Eckrich
Did you know that in the beginning Jesus made no rain, no watering can? It's true.
Genesis 2:4-5 tells us:
4...in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens, 5And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth and there was not a man to till the ground.
There was no rain, no watering can, to give water to the fruits and vegetables, the trees and the shrubs. It was a very different earth than it is today. How did the Lord water His earthly garden?
Genesis 2:6
But, there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
The Lord designed the earth to be self watering through the use of mist as opposed to the evaporation and rain system we have today. Why did the system change? Sin. Sin corrupts everything. But, Jesus provides the way. Praise Him.
And now you know.
