Daffodils were gently bowing, The songbirds were on high. A gentle breeze whispered softly, as All creation listened. Oh spread the tidings loud and clear, Praise the Lord! He is Risen! Jesus the man of low esteem Who died upon the tree, Shed His blood to cleanse each stain, Giving life to you and me. Oh shout it from the housetops, That death has lost its sting. Give glory, majesty, and honor To Christ, our Eternal King! One day we shall see Him, In the splendor of His heaven. Oh spread the tidings loud and clear, Praise the Lord! He is Risen! Dennis M.
