Are you living the life you chose? I know too many people who go around griping that they are not living the life they chose as if there was another choice besides the one they chose. It kind of reminds me of that old game show Let’s Make a Deal. You know the one where there are three doors and you had to pick the prize that was behind door number 1, 2 or 3.
This is what I think some people feel that there life was like but when they got the part with the doors they picked the wrong one and are now stuck with their misfortune of being numerically inept. I don’t know about you but I must have missed the doors because the life I now live was the one I chose.
No life is ever based on one monumental choice like the choice of which door to pick. Life is more like those old building blocks we used to play with; each day you add a block here and a block there based on your choices.
The life I now live was not the life I planned on originally but now as I look back I can see as I progressed through my years I made choices here and I made choices there that led me to the point and the life I am at now. I cannot blame anybody else for how my life turned worked out and I cannot wish for a different life than the one I have. Nor can I say I am victim of society or have been brainwashed by some unseen meaning in my music or television shows.
No I am who I am because of choices. I could have said no when I meant to but was afraid I didn’t want to. I could have chosen to remain friends with all those people I said I was never goanna stop being friends with and chosen to keep in contact with all those people I now wonder where they are. I could have loved my mother and father better than I did but now it is too late. These are all choices we live with and are part of our lives. So like or not it was the life we chose not that we were dealt.
All we can do from this point on is move forward and see what we can do with the choices we make from this point on. Don’t be afraid to make choices because in the end the choice you make now will affect the choices you make later. Also I must remind you of one choice you need to make now because later it may be to late. That is the choice of accepting Christ as your Savior, which is the one choice you will make in your life that has eternal ramifications.
So we all have choice to make and we all will make them, but please do not blame your choices on someone else because you made them and they are all yours, so you msut live with them.

Tell it like it is, friend. :::smile::: Yep, I have regrets about choices I made. But what's done is done and the best thing I can do is go on and do the best I can with what I have. Having Jesus as the Lord of my life is the best thing that ever happened to me. And besides, it sure makes making the right choices come easier. Be blessed!
