Thank God Adam is happy now;
From earthly cares he’s found release.
You’d never see him wear a frown
If you were with him in that World of Peace.
He found a friend more precious than gold;
A friend who always cared;
A friend whom he could call on the phone
When his pain got too great to bear.
Brother Bob showed what Christ is like,
Compassionate, loving and true;
Through this man’s eyes Adam saw the Light
Of a Paradise unspoiled and new.
Gone is the longing for earthly things;
Adam has gained a far better prize:
The Presence of the Heavenly King
And a friend so loving and wise.
I’m fully convinced he’s happy now
As he walks with Brother Bob;
His World is a joyous, shining crown
Thanks to a man who did his job.
