"This poem was written for my Mother In Law, Judy. She lives with MS, and she never complains. It has severely slowed her down. Such a beautiful soul, her resilience is amazing."
~In loving memory of Higgins, the cocker spaniel 6-21-00~
Have you ever seen an Angel?
Well I have.
She is my mother-n-law,"The Angel",
And her name is Judy.
She gave life to six children,
Work, faith and love.. her motherly duty.
She never gives in..to the pain she bears,
MS she lives with and a smile she shares.
She stands up for the RIGHTS,
She feels deep in her heart,
Animals, disabled, good causes she'll start.
Her fears are of falling or dropping a glass,
things we take for granted and daily we pass.
Slowly she moves, but the endless smile is there,
to show those in need, how much she cares.
I wish for one day I could take all her pain,
giving her freedom to dance in the rain.
Unable to humanly take her MS away,
I know God will grant her, perfect wings one day.
For sixty plus years, never missing a beat,
Judy lives life, never giving in to defeat
