Though at times the road seems tough, and it seems nobody cares, it is just an illusion.
You see, the devil works in deception and perception. If he can trick you into percieveing the circumstance to be worst than it is, then he has begun to allow you to decieve yourself. Once your mind has been decieved your body acts out the clouded perception. It is written "As a man thinketh so is he". If you could only meditate on HIS Word, you could change the way you percieve that man, woman, situation, child, sickness, marriage, death, betrayal, the promotion, or the blessing.
Gods Word eliminates deceit. It shines forth light on the darkness.It is written "Gods word is a light unto our path". Once your negative perception is in order according to The Word of God, You tend to see things through the eye of God. The prophet Ezekiel saw a vision of a wheel in the middle of a wheel. That is how The Holy Spirit is in us. We are the outer wheel, The Holy spirit is the inner wheel. When we see through the eye of God we notice the earthquake, but we know God was not in it, We notice the storm and the wind, but God is not in it. When we hear that still small voice, we know It is God.
That is when he breathes over our situation, over our marriage, over our children, our blessing, the promotion, the face of death, over the lost loved one passing on, over the sickness and the pain. God has changed our perception. Once He renews our mind, it is written "At first I was blind but now I see"

Just like when Moses sent the group to spy out the land. When they saw the giants, they defeated themselves by thinking how small they were in comparison. Great reminder!
Today, I thank you for that bit of wisdom and enlightenment. A few years ago, I'd have understood it, but I admit that I'd have had a hard time actually putting it into practice... because I couldn't see the fish for the water, the forest for the trees, or extended grace for the situation at hand. Thank you, Brother, for the Biblically sound reasoning that I had to learn the more difficult way. I will hold on tight to that bit of wisdom because the suffering of the world and the wiles of the enemy do not cease, regardless that he has already been defeated.
