This message is for everyone, married or single. Love is a universal language that speaks to all. Anyone that you show it to in action or deed has the ability to receive it. In I Corinthians 13th chapter, it talks about love at great lengths, this love that God speaks about through Paul keeps us 'reaching to achieve it!' Because it's not just a 'snap-boom-bam' and it's done, but it requires much self-denial and sacrifice to try and gain this level of love. Our God is all-knowing He would not give us something to do that we were unable to, so what His Word has said, we are capable of. Love is so versatile, it fits us 'all' no matter what stage of life we're in; single, married, widowed even divorced, the love that God designed will find us! The unique thing about Godly love is it's always laced with kindness and thoughtfulness for others. It's considerate at all times and constantly thinks of others first and how to make them happy. The Living version speaks it so plainly, I Corinthians 13:4-8, "Love is patient, kind, never jealous or envious, boastful or proud, never haughty or rude. Love doesn't demand its own way; it's not irritable or touchy. Doesn't hold grudges, hardly notices when it's done wrong. Never glad about injustices, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you love someone you'll be loyal to them no matter what the cost. You'll always believe in them, expect the best of them and always stand your ground in defending them. Love never fails." God created love so multi-faceted because He wanted everyone to have an opportunity to experience it! There's something special about obtaining this love that I Corinthians talks about, not only do you get this unique love, but now you have God too! "...For God is love." I John 4:8
