Our mind is the greatest gift God has given us and it ought to be devoted entirely to Him. We must seek the reward of “Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ,” 2 Corinthians 10:5. That takes the unseen faith in Jesus Christ. The ability to receive that kind of faith is innate in all of us, but must be turned from earthy knowledge to Godly knowledge. When we have thoughts and ideas that are worthy of God as written, we will learn to compare and associate them with all that happens in the nature of things around us. We begin to see that our thoughts are from God. The mind will no longer be at the mercy of impulsive thinking, but will always be used in service to God. He will always correct and instruct me. I can never say that God is not talking to me right now or misses a moment in my life from time to time communicating with me, because He keeps His Word on the frontlet of my mind and on my hand in all that I do on this earth.
“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes,” Deuteronomy 6:5-8 and 11:18. “And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious,” Isaiah 11:8. He ever reminds me that I serve Him. Lord, how I love my Father in heaven! All glory to His name in the name of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Your faithful word has restored me!
Having faith in God is the attainment of Spiritual character. As I walk in Christ, I have encountered many changes in my character that are consistently strengthened and brought to new heights daily in His Word. Some may say they feel the presence of God around them when they pray, yet they are only briefly changed. It seems individuals tend to keep going back to their everyday ways and His glory disappears. A life of faith in Christ is not a life of one glorious moment in prayer after another, it is not like partaking of the Eucharist from time to time then falling into sin when absent from the ceremony. It is not like soaring on eagle’s wings for an instant then falling back to earth.
It is a life of consistent faith in Him day after day, moment after moment, in season or out of season, and walking on this earth in the company of His Holy Spirit. It is a faith that has been tried, proved, and has withstood the test of time times infinity. That kind of faith is given of God Almighty every moment of one’s life and is fortified daily in the Holy Spirit of Witness that never fails in upholding the saints of God with His grace and mercy in our lives. It’s like soaring as eagles that are upheld by the hand of God. It’s a faith that transcends all conceivable limits and a faith that comes only from the Son of God. My unseen faith is not of my own created spiritual faith in Jesus Christ, but is of the faith the Son of God has given me. It is faith that has changed my character and was made a desire of my heart. It is of a faith that was foretold to come and did. By this faith given of my Father, Christ shall be magnified in my body daily. The same can be for you.
