Kingdom Faith is the endless and awesome power of God exercised by a believer in Christ, it’s a trust that’s birthed in a man or a woman’s born again spirit as they read and ‘act’ on God’s word.
Kingdom faith is not the power of the mind, its not hypnosis, it is not human reasoning nor human wisdom, its not cultish, and its not trusting in some man made principle for nothing that man can dream up or create can ever match Holy Spirit birthed, Kingdom Faith.
Kingdom Faith is the title deed to all the promises of God, the key to all that Christ through his death and resurrection purchased for every believer, it’s the open door to all the blessings of God, to all the treasures of heaven which are available to us as heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ (Romans 8:17)
‘All the promises of God in Christ are yes and in Him amen unto the glory of God ‘by us’ (2 Corinthians 1:20) that’s the reason we can be certain of positive answers to prayer, God has made a commitment that when we pray His promises He says yes and agrees that it is done.
What an answer to those who say, God doesn’t always answer prayers or that he sometimes says no, listen; ‘God is not man that He should lie nor the son of man that He should repent, has he said and shall he not do it? Or has he spoken and shall he not make it come to good? (Numbers 23:20)
‘It is impossible for God to lie’ that’s why we have a strong consolation (comfort) we have an anchor of the soul that’s sure and steadfast; Jesus Christ’ (Hebrews 6:18-19)
That the reason we can trust or have faith in God, he cannot lie... its not part of his nature, he is truthful and trustworthy, His word is rock solid its unshakable regardless of how many have tried to discredit or to destroy it.
God said it and even if you disagree it is already settled in Heaven and cannot be changed, so simply find out what Gods word is on any subject and pray His promises, that way a positive answer is assured.
God has promised to ‘provide all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus’ all means all!! Not some, all; so instead of fretting over debt ask him to provide for the need.
He has promised that whatsoever things you desire, when you pray believing you will receive. (Mark 11:24) Not some things, ‘whatsoever things’ so ask believing that you ‘have’ received them and you shall have them.
God has promised to be your healer (Exodus 15:26) Why get depressed when ‘he is the health of your countenance and your God’ (Psalm 42:11) ‘His highest wish above all is that you prosper (financially) and be in health’ (perfect soundness of health, mind, body and soul) (3 John 2)
Kingdom Faith is the power and authority of God working ‘in us’ (Ephesians 3:20) it makes the sick whole, (Matthew 9:22) the blind to see, the Lame to walk, the lepers to be cleansed, the deaf to hear and the dead to be raised (Matthew 11:5) We need to understand that the power ‘works ‘in us’ by the Holy Spirit, we need to realize that if we do not do the works Christ commissioned us to do (Mark 16:15-18) they will remain undone.
It is God which ‘works in us’ both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13) but what of our hands, are they made available to him? What of our mouth will we speak forth words of life? What of our feet will we be swift to bring the gospel of peace? God works with us to will and to do his good pleasure but what if we are unwilling to do what He pleases to do?
Kingdom Faith ‘pursues’ what Christ made available to all who simply believe, kingdom faith never gives up, it refuses to take no for an answer. It is determined and zealous for an answer and will jump over any barrier in its desire to reach Christ and to receive from Him.
In the gospel of Mark chapter 5 we read of determined faith, ‘A certain woman with an issue of blood had suffered 12 years of many doctors and grew worse’ many today are found in the same boat, having lived with sickness and pain for years, having spent years as guinea pigs under different doctors.
For those who can identify with this precious soul I have good news for you; ‘Christ doesn’t charge and he cannot fail to heal’ he is the great physician; as your creator he has all the spare parts needed to make you whole.
This certain woman in the middle of her despair ‘heard of Jesus’ just like you are hearing as you read now and when she heard she made her mind up that whatever the cost she would get to his side and touch him or at least his clothes. Even though she could have been stoned to death under religious laws she pushed shoved and crawled, deaf to the remarks of the healthy to the place were Christ was. Reaching up she touched the hem of His clothes and she was completely healed as power from heaven touched her body.
Jesus sought her out and said to her ‘woman your faith has made you whole, go in peace and be whole of your plague’ Years of torment, years of being rejected because of her condition, years of turmoil and fear removed because when she heard of Christ and how he healed all that came to him she was determined to reach out and touch him.
Read also of the Syrophenician woman who never gave up until she received healing and deliverance for her daughter (Mark 7:25-30)
Many there are today who hear of Christ but yet never make an effort to reach out in faith for salvation, many even God’s children never seek the Lord first, they will try every doctor in the book before seeking out the one who cannot fail them.
Determined faith, kingdom faith in the Lord God is always rewarded for ‘God is a re-warder of them who diligently seek him’ (Hebrews 11:6) whatever your need is don’t give up, find Christ at any cost, for he will save and he will heal you from every hurt and every sickness.
Kingdom Faith holds fast to the totality of our inheritance in Christ; it is aggressive and tenacious against any thought that is not sent from heavens throne, it pulls down strongholds in the mind that are in conflict against the inspired word of God. (2 Corinthians 10:4)
Kingdom faith examines every thought to see if it is from God and if not it rebukes it and demands it to be removed; it never allows the mind to watch ungodly implanted pictures, it never speaks what the heart tells it to be wrong. Kingdom faith is not motivated on what the natural eye sees rather it is moved by what the word of God declares as truth; that’s why the word is such a lifeline for every believer, we cant live on another’s faith we need our own and that only comes from devouring the word of God.
We need to prove all things and to hold fast to that which is good (1 Thessalonians 5:21) to hold fast the faithful word of God (Titus 1:9) to stand fast in the faith, to act like men and to be strong (1 Corinthians 16:13)
Kingdom faith refuse to give up any ground which Christ gained for His church, it destroys the devils works every time it appears, it recognizes the cost of Gods mercy and salvation and is willing to die rather than live in bondage.
Kingdom faith lives in the shelter of God’s grace and refuses to be foolish enough to be bewitched by fools who would bring them under the bondage of the law (Galatians 3:1) for ‘no man is justified by the works of the law but only by the faith of Jesus Christ’ (Galatians 2:16)
We are justified freely by Gods grace through the redemption that is in Christ. (Romans 3:24) the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17) we are made righteous by our faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:22)
Kingdom Faith is ever increasing from ‘faith to faith’ it refuses to remain static and stagnant rather it desires to grow into a shelter for the whole world.
In the same way that a seed when sown brings forth a harvest of 30- 100 fold so faith is ever creating and increasing from faith to faith. It is never satisfied but strives for perfection in God while at the same time being always content in Christ, it grows without striving simply resting in the knowledge that ‘God is for us and no one can stand against us’ (Romans 8:31)
Faith that flows from the heart of God to us who believe always begins with a simple confession that asks Jesus Christ to be Lord of our lives but it grows to understand that He is Lord of all and if Lord then he has conquered all His enemies and ours.
Christ is an enemy to our enemies and an adversary to our adversaries (Exodus 23:22) what disease, what sickness, what curse then can overcome us when God is on our side?
Why should our faith not increase daily when we see the power and authority we live under as servants and indeed friends of Christ? Can it be that the word given to us profits us nothing because we do not mix it with faith when we hear it? (Hebrews 2:4)
We are a people under the authority of heaven and as such when we step on Satan’s toes we fight with all the resources of heaven at our disposal, when we speak the word of God all heaven is on our side, what then could stand in our way, what power is greater than the almighty power of God.
Allow the word of God to take root in your life, allow it to permeate your thoughts and you will always walk in victory.
Kingdom Faith works in victory and not defeat; it overcomes the world by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony, (Revelation 12:11) it operates in the power of the Holy Spirit even when our flesh is weak, it develops strength through the abiding word of God and enables the youngest Christian to be an over comer, (1 John 2:14) it creates conquerors out of weaklings (Romans 8:37)
Kingdom Faith subdues the kingdoms of men, it works righteousness, it obtains the promises of God and even shuts the mouths of lions; it quenches the violence of fire, it escapes the edge of the sword, out of weakness it is made strong, it is valiant in fight and turns to flight the armies of the aliens. (Hebrews 11:33-34) Kingdom faith see mountains as molehills it does not dwell on the problem it sees victory and not defeat for Christ is the ‘Lord of Hosts’ the undefeated champion of heaven and the whole earth.
Kingdom faith operates when we realize as believers that because we are under the head ship of Christ, because he is Lord then we are backed up by all the power and authority of heaven, we are not isolated we are soldiers under the authority of the ‘Lord of Hosts’ (Psalm 47:7)
Who or what is big enough to take on the victorious Christ? Who would dare to try and take his throne? Who is there that could overcome Christ? No one; no devil, no man, for Christ reigns supreme ‘over all principalities and powers’ indeed ‘He has spoiled them and made a show of them openly, triumphing over them’ (Colossians 2:15)
We are His body on earth working with Him to uphold the victory which He won through death and resurrection. We are not out on a limb, we are not sent out alone to the battle field; we are surrounded by the host of heaven who are ‘ministering spirits sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation’ (Hebrews 1:14)
We are not called to defeat the devil, we are called to enforce the victory Christ won over him on our behalf, and the only devil we have to be concerned about is the one we see looking back at us each morning in the bathroom mirror.
The devil has been defeated but our minds and our flesh are yet to be overcome and we in Christ are to be renewed in the spirit of our minds (Ephesians 4:23) we are to mortify the deeds of our bodies through the work of the Holy Spirit and live. (Romans 8:13)
If we live to satisfy the flesh, we will always live in bondage to sin and destruction, foe ‘he that sows to the flesh reaps of the flesh corruption’ (sickness, disease and death) if we follow the lusts and desires of our minds and bodies we will die, it’s that simple. However if we sow to the Spirit we shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting. (Galatians 6:8) So live in the Spirit, sow to the Spirit and rejoice in the Spirit and reign over your fleshly thoughts and desires and in doing so you will not fulfil the lusts of the flesh and thus you will live in victory.
Kingdom Faith works by love; (Galatians 5:6) Calvary love, flowing through the life of a believing believer, a love that is accompanied with heavens compassion toward the lost, the sick and the distressed.
Faith that is based on the love of God toward us is unhindered by doubt and unshackled by fear, it’s a perfect faith not based on our righteousness but on the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
If you have never had a revelation of the love that God has for you then you will never truly believe that he will to give you your hearts desire, you will always be striving for that well done from heaven, that place were God forgives and heals. Look to Calvary’s cross; see love in action for it was God who beat, struck, afflicted, wounded, bruised and chastised, oppressed, and bruised his own Son for the sin of mankind, look and see that ‘while we were still sinners Christ willingly died for us’. (Isaiah 53)
‘God did not give us a spirit of fear but of power love and a sound mind’ (2 Timothy 1:7) ‘there is no fear in love for it’s His perfect love that casts out fear because fear brings torment, if we fear we are not made perfect in love’ (1 John 4:18)
In other words if we cannot see the totality of Gods love toward us we will still fear sickness and disease and death, we will remain tormented by the law and grace will have been bound.
Read 1 Corinthians 13, commonly known as the ‘love chapter’ see what degree of love god expects from every believer and ask your self would He love me any less?
How can we ever doubt the love of God, for ‘herein is love, not that we first loved God but that he loved us, and sent His Son to be an atoning victim for our sins’ (1 John 4:10)
Ask your self these questions; would a father abuse his child just to teach him a lesson, would he send cancer to a loved one just to get their attention? Would he allow poverty to pervade his children’s life? Of course not for those things are evil, a father’s love for his child would only lead him to want what’s best for them.
Jesus asked a question in (Matthew 7:9-11) ‘what father if his son asked for a loaf of bread would give him a stone or if he asked for a fish would give him a serpent? He continued, if you then being evil know how to give good things to your children how much more will your father in heaven give good things to them that ask him’
Acts 10:38 tells us were sickness and disease comes from; for it reveals the true nature of God; ‘how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power; who went about doing good and healing all that were ‘oppressed of the devil’ for God was with Him’ It’s the devil who is the oppressor, the destroyer of lives, Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost is the healer and God was with Him in every healing, every miracle, every moment of freedom.
We need to understand that ‘God is love’ (1 John 4:8) Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God; for God cannot be tempted with evil, and neither does he tempt any man (James 1:13) He is a good God for without this truth we will always be at the mercy of fools who would say that God sends sickness or even that he allows it.
Would a loving father do such a thing? Would he hurt and abuse? Would he allow his child to be wounded, broken and diseased for some perverted reason? Of course not…
It’s though Gods goodness that we have salvation, did we earn it? It’s through His goodness that we have an eternal future in heaven, did we earn it? Were we perfect when he saved us? Were we good enough? Of course not, why then do we believe that we have to be good enough to receive health? No its love that bought us, love that keeps us and love that will one day redeem our bodies.
Knowing of His love allows us to believe for the impossible; it sets the foundation of our faith on Christ and not our selves.
Kingdom Faith is the demonstration and power (miraculous working power) of the Holy Spirit; it is not enticing words of mans wisdom, (1 Corinthians 2:4) it is conceived in the heart of God, gifted by the Holy Spirit and demonstrated by the believer.
Kingdom faith shakes hell to its foundations, it makes a show of the enemy openly (Colossians 2:15) knowing that the victory has been won by Christ, it laughs at death knowing that its sting has been removed, (1 Corinthians 15:55)
Kingdom faith rejoices in temptations and trials knowing that ‘the trying of our faith works patience’ (James 1:2-3)
Kingdom faith realizes while the enemy may ‘lead us into temptations, Christ delivers us from evil’ (Luke 11:4)
Kingdom faith laughs in the face of adversity knowing that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28)
Kingdom faith is demonstrated by ‘weak, foolish and base men and women of God’ (1 Corinthians 1:27) who in the Holy Spirit dare to take on the devil at His worst knowing that they are elected as God’s best.
Kingdom Faith is a shield; which enables us to quench all the fiery darts of the enemy; (Ephesians 6:16)) Faith in Christ enables us to fulfil all the good pleasure of His goodness and the work of faith with power. (2 Thessalonians 1:11)
Kingdom Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. (Hebrews 11:1)
It is not just hoping; it is the very thing which puts substance, (assurance, and confidence) to hope because faith knows with conviction that whatever it is applied too will appear.
It was through faith that we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were made out of nothing. (Hebrews 11:3)
Faith that is God given is not hindsight for true faith believes for things it cannot see, we are not asked to believe for what we can see with our eyes we are asked to believe for the impossible when we speak words of life
You do not need Kingdom Faith to heal a well person, you don’t need faith for a house if you own one, you do not need faith when the battle has been won, no; ‘real faith only ever meets real and mainly immediate needs’
Faith is not stopped by any Red Sea, it divides it and crosses over on dry land, it’s not stopped by high walls, it shouts the victory knowing that God will break down the walls, (Hebrews 11:29-30)
Faith in God overcomes the world, it gives us victory and not defeat because we are born of God through believing that Jesus is the Son of God (1John 5:4-5)
Kingdom Faith has small beginnings; it is like a mustard seed, (Luke 17:6) one of the smallest seeds in the world, dust like compared to your biggest problems, however apply faith to your problems and by the power of God they become as dust under your feet.
In the same way an acorn grows into a mighty oak tree so does faith create great things from small beginnings, Jesus said ‘except you receive the kingdom of God as a little child you cannot enter in’ (Luke 18:17)
The Syrophenician woman whose daughter was possessed with a devil realized that she didn’t require a full loaf of ‘the children’s bread of healing but that a mere crumb would be enough to set her daughter free’ It was enough for Jesus said, ‘O woman great is your faith, be it unto you even as you will’ (Mark 7:25-30)
Great faith is not something puffed up, it is a God given gift stirred up from within; it is childlike in nature because it sees the heart of God as a father’s heart to a child, it is simply received by faith and just as simply operated in faith.
Not many wise after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble are called (1 Corinthians 1:26) because childlike faith is often missing from their hearts, human reasoning often reasons God out of our hearts and destroys the simple faith that’s needed to turn the world upside down for God.
Kingdom faith makes all things possible for them that believe; (Mark 9:23) it creates an environment in which fear dies and doubts die. Things may be impossible for us but with God all things are possible (Mark 10:27)
‘He is able to do exceeding abundantly above ‘all’ we could ask or think according to the power that works ‘in us’ Ephesians 3:20)
There is not one thing you could think of or ask for that God in His grace and mercy would not give you, indeed ‘when you seek first the kingdom of God ‘all’ these things shall be added unto you’ for ‘it’s the Fathers good pleasure to give you His kingdom’ (Luke 12:31-32)
We live on the giving of God, he is our shelter in every storm, he is our refuge and our strength, he is our saviour, our healer, our deliverer and our God, He is the provider of every need, he is our victor, our defence, our shield, he is the Lord of Hosts, indeed he is our all in all. He is our sacrificial lamb, the fountain of living water, the bread of life, our provider and our King.
Kingdom faith sees these truths declares them and lives safely in the shelter they provide
Thank you for this wonderful article. I really loved where you said, "Kingdom faith desires to grow into a shelter for the whole world!" I say, AMEN! The Lord led me one time to have my mother-in-law, swallow a mustard seed. She had cancer and the doctors gave her a few short months to live. I read her the Scripture relating to the mustard seed, and then prayed for God to fill it with everything needed and the fact that she had enough faith to swallow the seed qualified her for the results. Well she lived many years longer. Yes, there is POWER in kingdom faith! Blessings, Sharon
