Blessed Savior
On our knees
Thee we worship
Gentle king
Virgin's proffer
Lamb of God
Men would martyr
Then e'er laud
Holy Master
Hear our pleas
For life's burdens
Grant us ease
O'er those who'd fell us
Grant us sway
In darkest moments
Light our way
Show us mercy
By thy birth
As we plod
Along this earth
Give us visions
Of Thy home
Where soon we'll seek Thee
on Thy throne
Let not moments
Marked by time
Mask Thy presence
From mankind
Speak Thy wisdom
In our ears
When some discourse
Brings us tears
Dry our eyes
With remembrance, too
Thy kingdom comes
This world to woo
And then dulled the devil's tongue
Curses nulled
The morning young
At dawn's break
The veil cast down
Satan silenced
Thee, we crown
Reign forever and ever
Lord we pray
But if Thy will
Take Thy rule today
Too long we await
Thy sure return
Make us wait no longer
For Thee we yearn
