Did You Know?*
God's Time, Space, and Matter
By Gregory Eckrich
Did you know the Book of Genesis is unique in all the world in accounting for time, space and matter? It's true.
No other book of philosophy, religion or science even attempts to account for all these things. Yet, Genesis 1 beautifully states how it all came into being.
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
Genesis goes on to declare what God did each day of Creation week further clarifying time, space and matter. Day one: light made and separated from darkness; day two: a firmament made to divide the waters from above and below; day three: all vegetation created; day four: sun, moon and stars created and placed; day five: fish and fowl created; day six: beasts of the field including dinosaurs and humans made; day seven: all work ceased and a rest declared.
This unique process is called special creation. Praise Him.
And now you know.
