Universalism isn't a term that I was familiar with intellectually up until a few years ago. The concept itself on the surface seemed to be a very christian idea but I've found that underneath there's a world teeming with intolerance for the True teachings of Christ.
Although He quite often spoke in terms related to oneness, He never advocated ubiquitously cognitive doctrines to Unite the world. http://origin.org/ucs/text/membersites.cfm.
In fact quite the opposite was true. He said that the words that He spoke would divide friendships and even families, which this writer has found to be an absolutely legitimate assertion.
Our own constitution was founded on the premise that, though we wouldn't always agree, there would be plenty of room for pragmatic public debate that was "aboveboard".
Not so with the present worldsystem.
The world has fallen yet deeper into the hands of the enemy, The god of this world. It's total depravity but it's all happening just as God said it would. They are Uniting together against us. Forming common ground so that can gain sympathizers to the Cause, the Ultimate Demise of Truth a world where it really does..."all depend on how you look at it."
It will be considered sinful, not to agree with them and if they have their way eventually illegal.
