Cursed is the one, who puts faith in man,
In turning away from God and His plan;
For he will be like the desert tumbleweed,
Roaming aimlessly in the wind for greed.
Living space in a waste land unoccupied,
That stretches outward both far and wide;
Showing no real purpose within his life,
As it is filled with tribulation and strife.
Blessing to a man with faith in the Lord,
As salvation for his soul shall be restored;
For he is like a tree planted near a stream,
Roots almost like fingers as it may seem.
They reach the water to quench a thirst,
While the blooms rejoice as they burst;
No fear from the tree as the summer heat,
Causing the moisture to nearly deplete.
Never showing fear as it stays so green,
Able to produce fruit that has a sheen;
Your faith is where you put your heart,
As a barren faith in man can soon depart.
