When you think about Thanksgiving,
Does a big turkey come to mind?
Stuffing and all the trimmings,
A meal that’s so divine.
You give thanks for all the big things
That readily come to your mind.
But don’t forget about all the little things
That may be hard to recognize.
You should thank God for safety
As you travel from place to place.
There are some people out there driving
Like they’re competing in a race.
You need to remember to give thanks
More that just one day of the year.
That God is watching over us
Should be abundantly clear.
You should thank God every morning
Afternoon and night time too.
For all the big and little things He does
To show that He loves you.
