Praise the Lord for it is the key to unlocking the chains of bondage.
I can barely take it all in. I’m becoming more and more open, as He renews my mind and infill my spirit with a new breath and a new touch. Precious, Precious Lord, My Savior, how I adore You. Beautiful Maker, Lover of My Soul, I will not allow anything to come between me and You. You are my everything.
I press in for a touch. I bow humbly at Your feet. You are Faithful and True. You have never forsaken me. I know that I will understand it better by and by. You will not let the righteous be forsaken. We are in You – white as snow, pure and clean by the Precious Blood of the Lamb of God.
I love you, Lord Jesus. I could never thank You enough. Your Spirit is so tender and sweet. Thank You for the tough love, as I know that You are looking our for my best. I trust You if You still the storm and I trust You if You do not. I trust You as You carry me, as You still me to stand in You. Anchor me in the Rock of Your love.

Thank you Mitzi for reminding us that the "sacrifice of Praise" truely trancends the bondage of our earthly sufferings. Thanks again -- having just come from this struggle before the Lord this morning, reading your words pierced my soul to enable me to go do what I must now do! Go back into His Presence and apologise and start over.
Reminds me of a time when I was hurting (emotionally) very badly and I had set that aside while the worship leader lead us in a song that was so anointed and full of true worship that I became drenched from the Spirit of God all over me. I was SO not in that church building when the pastor snuck up behind me out of nowhere and said "There is healing in your praise." Hallelujah! And yes, there is healing in my praise. There's healing in yours too. And not just for you, but for everyone who gets wind of your praise. You are soooooooo blessed!
We often sing the chorus "The Sacrifice of Praise" without really comprehending the power of that truth. Praise is SACRIFICE when circumstances would bury us beneath its billows. Sacrifice costs, is painful, and through it results in joy and blessing, God brings that about by His acceptance of our 'offering to Him,' in the midst of pain and questions, our praise! That focus which has willingly lifted from ourselves and raised our eyes heavenward with bended knee and bended heart in faithful, trusting abandon to Him. Thank, Mitzi, for this precious picture of what sacrificial praise looks like. May it bring you untold blessing and uncontainable joy.
