No matter what you do during your busy day, no matter what is transpiring, and even if you are crawling with people around you; Find some time out even for a minute and pray.
This I write to men who are somewhat religoius and have recieved a feeling, just a feeling that you want to get closer to God. This is to the one who says" I'm not the church type, I'm just not a super-spiritual person". Yes, you! God is going to pick you up and draw you close to Him. He is going to use you. He will pick you even over the ones around you who only act as if...they are spiritual but really don't know God personally.
Take a minute out of your day and to talk to God. Just try it, I know you may not know what to say but speak from your heart and mean what you say. HE will understand. You see, God is looking for those who will have a relationship with Him because you want to. He wants you to choose Him, not be talked into it by people when you really don't want to. lastly as I ussually say to the Men, treat your wife with the respect you want from her for yourself. Don't listen to the lonely mis-informed single men around you. Treat your wife with love, show her Christ in your actions and in your talk, and in your walk.
I promise If you take at least a minute out during each day to speak your heart to God, and do nice things for your wife and make time for your family, Your life will change for the best. They will know you have found God or either bumped your head! Besides, God will reward you. Never mind the arguments, never mind the screaming matches, and emotional outburst, they never work, and they just age you faster. Let God take care of it. But you must know HIm first. So talk to Him, even if it's a minute a day.
