Oh most gracious Holy Father, we bring this petition to the highest court of appeals, and that is to You. We are asking for You and You alone, to rule in this case. The courts of this world are standing firmly on the right-to-die ruling for Terri who has been diagnosed as brain-damaged. We bring this petition to you standing on Terri’s right-to-live through Jesus Christ, the one who has paid the price for her right.
You have asked in Your word, that we should open our mouth for the speechless, in the cause of all who ARE APPOINTED TO DIE. Your word says that we are to open our mouth, and judge RIGHTEOUSLY, and PLEAD the cause of THE POOR and NEEDY. Well that is exactly what we are doing here, in the case of Terri Schiavo. She certainly is not able to plead her own cause, and we remember how you healed the paralytic who was let down through the roof by his four friends who had the faith that if they could get him to You, that You would heal him. And YOU DID! So we are bringing Terri to You on the wings of prayer and ALSO we are bringing her to You on the words contained in the Scriptures. Such as the place in Romans where You said to Moses, “I will have mercy on whomever I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whomever I will have compassion. (16) So then it is not of him who wills, nor of him who runs, but of God who shows mercy.”
Oh most gracious Holy Father, we are asking You to PLEASE have mercy on Terri! Your word has also told us that whatever we LOOSE on EARTH will be LOOSED in HEAVEN. So on the validity of this word, by faith, we loose Terri from the judgments of this world and of this courts system, unto Your righteous judgment. Oh Father, please do not leave her outcome in the hands of man, but may her outcome be placed back into Your most Holy hands. Her parents have fought long and hard for her right-to-live and have exhausted every avenue known to them here on earth, so Father You are the only One who can make a way for Terri.
We ask Father that You will feed her with the true bread, the bread of life. The bread that Jesus tells us about in the gospel of John. And we know that Jesus is the bread of life, the bread which He gives for the life of the world. We also ask Father that You will give her to drink from the water of the wells of salvation, Your salvation Father. Your word also tells us in the sixty-eighth Psalm that to You belongs ESCAPES from DEATH. Please Father if it be Your will make a way of escape for Terri!
Father, time is running out for Terri, and we are right on the verge of celebrating Your Son’s glorious resurrection. What a tremendous witness and tribute to our glorious king, if You would raise Terri up in Your righteousness for You name’s sake this Easter. What a testimony to the world this would be, what a victory indeed! What a slap in the face to the evil one. What a tribute to Your glorious RESURRECTION POWER.
We rest Terri’s case in Your hands Father, for she belongs to You. We praise You, for with You is the power and the glory and the honor. Amen!!!!
Even in the name Terri Schiavo, some of the letters can spell "Christ".
The evil of Jesus time thought they were putting Him to death to. But The Glory of God that passes the expectations and hopes of men had the final say. they called themselves killing Christ. But little did they know Christ was the sacrifice for us. He laid down His life. Their sinful hands could never take what was in the control Of God Himself through the Holy Spirit. I encourage all who pray for terri to see Christ in her name. In the Name of Jesus.
May every hand of every child of God in this nation lift Terri up to the Father. SHE IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY! WE MUST INTERCEED FOR HER! Sharon, I pray this piece goes out to the multitudes, that people will make copies and share it with all the members of their church. That way, if it so happens that someone just can't seem to come up with the words themselves, they have something to touch and agree with. And I do agree, as touching Terri, through this piece and in my own closet. "Where two or more agree as touching..." Therefore, let us call it done, in the blessed and most Holy name of Jesus, for His glory and honor. Amen. Amen. Amen.
