Light at the end of the dark tunnel January 5 2005

Did you know there is light at the end of the dark tunnel? Do you know where that light comes from? Allow me to explain how it shines.

A poor and desperate little girl lies on a cold and damp basement floor. She weeps, as she is naked and wounded: All she knows is pain on this cold floor! Her heart cries “ Why Lord, were are you? I need your help, please SAVE me! She waits to hear the voice that many say will be heard; yet she heard nothing. As a little child she feels lost and all alone. She knew no one would come or save her.

Can anyone handle such pain? This little girl aches deeply from her wounded body, wounded spirit and in the depth of her soul. She vows to never forgive or forget for all she has been through. She will always be in pain! Her heart aches to know true honest love: yet not the kind of love SHE has witnessed all her young life!

While she weeps upon the floor: she is unaware of someone near by. Some one who loves her and desires to hold her through the pain! Yet he cannot reach her, for the vow she made holds him back. His heart aches to see this precious child in such anguish. If only she would open her heart to him she would know he is there (as she has wept for him before) He waits, for he knows this is all he can do. He just waits for that day: with his arms wide open and his love kept only for her.

As the years drift by this little girl grows to be a young woman. She has tried many ways with many people to find the love she seeks; yet cannot find. The pain grows like cancer and over takes her heart. She truly believes the world will be a better place without her; and often ponders the quickest way to end her life. Some days she sees herself jumping from the highest cliff. Other days she believes pills would be less painful: either way it does not matter. It would be over and that would be the end of this pain!

She plans that day in great detail: The date, the time, the place and even the room where she would be found. She chose the clothes she would wear and the music she wanted to play that glorious day (to her anyway). As the date approaches, she becomes anxious and not knowing why she wonders who would miss her?

After a few moments she decides no one would and carries on with her plan. The one who loves this precious child grows more in love with her; hoping this would draw her nearer to him. Yet she takes another step closer to her last breathe.

The day arrives and she gets everything ready: for a moment she sits on her bed, all the pills in hand and with the music playing softly she feels her heart beating furiously within. She was sure the music would help calm her! Once again she tries desperately to think of someone who loves her and would miss her: again she decides that no one does. She pops the pills into her mouth and with a shaking hand reaches for the glass of water. The music seemed mellow “It must help calm me down,” she says to herself. She places her head upon her pillow and waits!

She tries to be still so this will end more quickly. She hears the music stop “ how could this be” she wonders. She knew she chose the longest playing music she had. While pondering this, she hears someone! “Who is there?” she cried. It sounded as though they were whispering to her. She waits to hear a response; for it is only while she is quite and still that she can hear his voice. His hand is upon her shoulder and his love is intensifying; for she needs him now more than ever before. He bends over and whispers in her ear “My precious child I love you so! I knew you before you were born. I cared for you in your mother’s womb. I have never stopped loving you, nor will I ever stop! This is not my will for you: I have many things planned that will help guide many lost souls into my arms: that you will be a part of. My child you asked many times were was I? I was here all of the time. Yet I could do nothing till you opened your heart to me. You see I knew how your life would go, I also knew that all that Satan had planned for evil in your life: I would turn for good! The choice now is yours! Take my hand and my love you have been longing for. Let the truth set you free! (For I am the light at the end of the dark tunnel) My love will set you free! I am the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE. Take my life within you and don’t take yours.

I hope that you're checking your E-Mail. People are reading you. Pain is an interesting thing. What you describe, happens to us all. I like kids and I hate to see them hurt. If that happened to you, I am sorry. But I will tell you that you're big brother (Jesus) was watching out for you. He probably gave you the gift that you have today for just this purpose of writing. If you touch one heart, as you have done mine, then you are fulfilling His design. Is there light yet at the end of your tunnel? Pauly

Wow. Spooky. Poignant. Leaves a haunting message that has me hanging on and thanking my lucky stars that Jesus chose me.

Would it not be too late if the pills are already swallowed? I think the story would be more inspiring if someone with skin on had come in right after God spoke. It sounds like you are in ministry!
