Freedom isn’t free
It comes at a great cost
To loved ones, friends, and family
Whose hearts break with each loss.
The wars of long ago
Are revisited as we see
Evil rising up again
To take away the peace.
We ask if we need enter
Into war times once again.
But the dear cost of apathy
Is a costly form of sin.
For freedom isn’t free
It comes at a great cost.
God bless our country as we rise
May none be ever lost.
Old Glory waves so proudly
Allegiance pledge we do.
To God, the flag…America
Revive us Lord anew!
