The Destiny of God
There is power in what one believed in. It can change the cause of history. The change is either for good or evil. One man, Adolph Hitler, exterminated 6 million Jews during the Second World War. One man, Martin Luther King brought about the revolutionary change to the Christian doctrine of Faith. It changed the whole history of the reformation age in his lifetime.
One man, Jesus, too, changed the cause of history when He submitted Himself into the loving hand of the Father to die for mankind. He stood in history as the ultimate sacrifice for sinful mankind. Just one act of obedience was enough to fulfill what God wants to do to redeem mankind.
We saw in history too, mighty men and women of God, taking the stage to bring the gospel to the ends of the world. One woman, Kathryn Kuhlman, shakes the Christian world with her powerful gifts of healing, wonders and signs, bringing thousands into the Kingdom of God.
Smith Wigglesworth, the uneducated plumber, too, moves the world with his bold, unchallenged and compassionates charisma, to bring about the most awesome history in his days by preaching the gospel to thousands.
The cause of history does move and change society. The world is changed with just one belief: either good, which glorifies God, or evil, that destroys mankind. How then can our belief change the world?
Each of us possesses a unique call of God in our lives. We may be one of Kathryn Kuhlman or Smith Wigglesworth that can shake the world for the cause of history. Do not underestimate the God-given gifts that He has given to us. One of you reading this article may be a world shaker or history maker in our present day era. You may be possessing the special unique call of God in your life that you have yet to discover. One man – does change the cause of history, and it may be you.
How then can we live up to this potential? The call of God is so vital in our lives. You will know it if you are called. The question is, have you lived up to your life of greatness? Are you doing what God has called you to do, or are you caught up with the system of this world? Are you the ‘one man’ that places history in your lifetime? Are you called by God to change history and moves the world? Have you received your called yet?
One characteristic that one usually manifests in their ‘high’ calling is the leading of a pure and holy life. Keeping ourselves pure is vitally necessary for ministry. We must not trample unto the snares of the world and loose our inheritance. The destiny of the ‘man of God’ is the walk of a true Christian that God can use to shake the world. Even his eating habit is special. I know many powerful men of God that eats only a meal a day. They walked in such high calling that every step they take is a step of the Father. They sanctified themselves for the cause of their ministry. They walked as a ‘man of God’ should.
Intimacy with God is also one area that these mighty men of God cultivate. Walking closely with our Master was essential for them. They know what it means to fear God and to walk in His high calling. There was no compromise in every area of their lives. It was walking with a Great God that they wholly gave their lives to. It was a life of intimacy.
Have you sanctified yourselves for the master’s use? Do you have a call in your life that bets you up for the work that God has called you to do? Holy living is all that is needed, as well as placing yourself to be the ‘favorite’ of God.
If you are the one that I am describing, may our good Lord be with you and bless you with something eternally great.
