Q: Where should one’s faith stand?

A: In the power of God, namely:

Christ Jesus
The power of God and the wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24)

The Cross of Christ
"Unto us which are saved it is the power of God" (1 Corinthians 1:18)

The Gospel of Christ
"For it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believe" (Romans 1:16)

”That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” (1 Corinthians 2:5)

Think This!

The Corinthians received the gospel of Christ through Paul’s preaching. His aim was not to tickle their ears with eloquence nor to display his skills, but to the saving of the soul. His simple message: Christ and the cross. Paul shows us that the success of the gospel does not rely on human wisdom, philosophy, or excellency of speech – it is God’s demonstration.

The Christian’s faith stands in the power of God!

[noteworthy]

Faith: trust in God

It is well for us to remember that everything we do comes from the power of God and not in any power of our own. Your scripture quotes confirm this.
