THE FATHER'S DISCIPLINE

Proverbs 3:12 For whom the Lord loveth he correcteth; even as a father the son in whom he delighteth. (KJV 1611)

Discipline means love, warnings means love, punishments can also be love

No parents who doesn't love their own children
No parents who doesn't pay attention to their own children
No parents who doesn't teach their children from right and wrong,
No parents who doesn't discipline their own children.

If they were not; they fail to be called parents

Children are ignorant and so curious
Children wanted to know everything around
Children never tire of discovering the kitchens
Children never tire of messing the floors
Children never knew what danger means
Children just follow the leading of the parents,
but there is so much fun discovering things their own

Children can be on their own?
But parents needed to teach instructions first
And parents can't let children do everything on their own
And parents needed to walk after the children to pick up the messes
And parents needed to give warnings of the dangers and the hazards,
And the parents sometimes needed to give discipline.

The parents needed to get angry to let the children know parental fear
The parents needed to give loving spanking to let the children learn their mistakes

But children sometimes rebel,
But children sometimes are too stubborn
To hear, to listen, to see, and to obey
So parents needed to give ultimatums and punishments.

So then,
how we response to the scriptures?
how do we response to listen?
how do we response to hear?
how do we response to see?
how do we response on warnings?
how do we response on punishments?
of our Almighty Father,
who gave His Only Son
to die on the Cross
to be a ransom for our sins
and receive the gift of everlasting life?

Hebrews 12: 5-6
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him. For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth. (KJV 1611)

Oh yes, the Father's discipline! As an adult I know that well! I have that kind of fear in me knowing He is a Father who forgives, but He certainly does correct. (smile)
