My prayers are with the families of those who lost loved ones, who fearlessly put their lives on the line in the interest of another great step in our nation's history. My prayers are with those who live near the tragic shuttle explosion of February 1, 2003, that you are safe from falling debris. They are with the nation, as it once again faces another great loss and is again, in mourning. And, they are with the world, as we are reminded of our vulnerability, our human frailty, and of our own mortality. May we sense the hand of God gently upon our shoulders and take comfort in His presence. Amen.
