I will bring you through the fire and make you pure, just as gold and silver are refined and purified by fire. You will call on my name, and I will answer you. I will say, `This is my son,’ and you will say, ‘The LORD is my God.’ Zechariah 13:9
Let not mercy and truth leave you: bind them about your neck; write them upon the table of your heart: so you shall find favor and good understanding in the spirit of God and man. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understand, in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths. Don’t be wise in your own eyes or in the eyes of others – but only pay homage to the Lord and do not do those things which are wrong and immoral in His eyes – and He will lift you up. (Proverbs 3)
What hindered you my son? You were running so well;
Who hindered you from following after me – why have you fallen? (Gal 5:7)
Why do you place your needs into the hands of those never intended to meet them?
Why do you crave nourishment at breasts never meant to provide it?
I am the Rock my son –
Come to me and break here, against me.
Let your heart crash against the granite of my desire.
Let me create for you a new heart (Ezek 18:31)
Come, my Son, and break here – against the Rock of Ages.
Why must you tend your Fire?
Your own flame?
Come, dance in the fire that is Mine.
Yours will leave you scorched and desolate. (Is 50:11)
Mine will set you free to burn. (Is 43:2)
Lean not on your understanding, My son. (Proverbs 3:5)
The world’s wisdom will steal your soul.
Submit to My statues, My precious one.
I have placed glory at your core.
Human logic and Knowledge will lead you away,
In all your ways, acknowledge me,
For your destiny of dignity and honor waits
A fool trusts in worldly ways.
My Son, I sit enthroned above the circle of this planet
I formed the darkness and the light
I stretched forth the heavens
Be not caught up in those things which you “must build”
Rather glory in the Truth of my abundant mercy and grace.
My son, I have robes – not rags for you
Yet your jaw is set
Your arms folded tight against your chest (Proverbs 14:14)
I cannot give into a clenched fist
Why entrust yourself to the harlot my son
Pitch your tent toward Zion
Come and feast at my table
Wash yourself in my Blood
Surrender your right to rule
Rest with confidence in My promise
In My power – for my rule is right
I will set you at true liberty
Come, and be made whole
Gal 5:16 So I advise you to live according to your new life in the Holy Spirit. Then you won't be doing what your sinful nature craves.
Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
