It's not the clothes that I wear
Or the Church I belong to...
It's what I have in my heart.
It's not the sermon I 'give'
It's the one that I 'live'
That shows others, I've made a start.
It's not the car that I drive
Or the street that I live on,
It's WHERE I drive and HOW I live,
It's not the cash on hand
Nor the acres of land...
It's how much of ME...I'm willing to give!
Not by works alone, lest any should boast
Will I see the Heavenly land.
It's NOT ME trying...it's Jesus dying
That allows me to hold His hand.
