I was thinking this morning of putting together the components of the jewelry I make.... and one in particular comes to mind when I think of our love...it is called liquid silver, such a lovely musical term for something so tiny yet adds so much when it makes its presence known.
For into the sides of these miniscule beads, facets are cut, that catch and reflect each bit of light in its space, giving the impression of movement and sparkle much larger than it really is.
And I think of our love that is shown in so many different ways...each one by itself may be small, but like those tiny facets on the bead, they catch the light of love that is shining from my heart, and reflects it back at you, just as your love is reflected back at me.
The love that's reflected is steady, the light shining bright and true, expressed in new ways each day with everything we say and do...even though our love stays the same, every day it is still sparkling bright, fresh and new.
Having been married 35 years with all its ups and downs, I love the comparison of love to liquid silver. It made me think of something that is constantly reflecting. Thanks for the read!
