Washing Your Mind with His Word
To the mind who has been feeding on the Word that God speaks, we are beginning to get a taste of Heaven.
Matt 16:9 Do you not yet discern (perceive and understand)? Do you not remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many [small hand] baskets you gathered?
Matt 16:10 Nor the seven loaves for the four thousand, and how many [large provision] baskets you took up?
Matt 16:11 How is it that you fail to understand that I was not talking to you about bread? But beware of the leaven (ferment) of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Matt 16:12 Then they discerned that He did not tell them to beware of the leaven of bread, but of the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
Matt 16:13 Now when Jesus went into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, Who do people say that the Son of Man is?
Matt 16:14 And they answered, Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets.
Matt 16:15 He said to them, But who do you [yourselves] say that I am?
Matt 16:16 Simon Peter replied, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.
Matt 16:17 Then Jesus answered him, Blessed (happy, fortunate, and to be envied) are you, Simon Bar-Jonah. For flesh and blood [men] have not revealed this to you, but My Father Who is in heaven.
What is this talking about here? Head knowledge versus spirit knowledge. Your head cannot understand the things of God. Natural knowledge comes from what you can see, hear, feel, touch, taste. The knowledge that comes from God will bypass or supersede your head knowledge or natural knowledge. It won't always make sense to your head what God is saying. But, your heart will understand it, and will accept it, and will change your head, or your way of thinking to God's way of thinking.
God isn't going to come down to our way of thinking. He is not a natural man. He is a Spirit. He doesn’t think like a carnal man. He wants to bring us up to a higher way of thinking. He wants us to think like Him. Your mind in its natural human way of thinking cannot even begin to keep up with God's way of thinking. So don't. Just let go, and let the Word wash your mind, and cause you to begin to think a new way. Begin to think like God. How do we begin to think like God, if we have never thought like God before?? By feeding on the Word. The Word will slowly transform your mind, and you will start to discern and understand the things of God, and His way of being and doing. The words that I speak to you are life and peace. They are not words of this carnal natural world, so your carnal, natural, sense knowledge, filled mind won't be able to understand them. Only the mind having been renewed and washed by the Word, of God can understand and comprehend what I am saying.
Physical insight gives us no understanding of what happened to Jesus on the cross. With human knowledge, we think He only suffered physically, and emotionally. We have no natural understanding of what happened to Him spiritually. Human knowledge cannot begin to understand how He took our sin in His own Spirit. Human understanding cannot begin to understand how He could possibly take our sicknesses, diseases, and pain. Human understanding can't understand how Jesus could take our depression and our fears inside His own emotions. Our carnal minds go tilt when we think about such things. Nah, that is nonsense, our minds scoff. To the natural human mind, the preaching of the cross is foolishness, and unnecessary nonsense.
But… to the mind who has been feeding on the Word that God speaks, we are beginning to get a taste of Heaven. We are beginning to understand what really happened. Light is going off in our minds, as our minds are changed to a new way of thinking. Revelation knowledge, God's knowledge is being implanted into our spirits from feeding on the Word of God, and our minds are saying, wow, wow, wow, this is amazing stuff. We are starting to think God's way, instead of our own way. The Word and the Christian walk is fun to the believer who is feeding on the Word. God's knowledge is being imparted to him or her everyday. To the carnal believer who hasn't been feeding on the Word, being a "Christian" is boring, dull, useless in the "real world". If they only knew…the power they could have, to overcome sin, the power to overcome sickness, the power to overcome depression, the power to overcome fear. Where does this power come from? This overcoming power comes from feeding on the Word. It comes from listening and reading anointed preaching from me and others.
My heart so yearns to bring you guys up to a higher way of being and thinking. I can see God holding His arms out to you all, and saying, "Come up here. I have great mysteries to show you. I want to share everything I have, and everything I am with you. Come up here… Come up here." I see Jesus waving His arms to everyone to come up higher. This is real. This isn't some hokey fantasy. This is real my sisters and brothers. It's for all of us…not just a select few. It's for anyone who will come up thither. Come on up. Follow me up higher. Follow those of us who know how to bring you up to God. It's time to lay aside the things of this world and come up higher.
It's time to lay aside your way, and take on God's way. Our ways are useless and boring anyway. What do I have that's worth keeping, which I got on my own?? I can't think of one thing I got on my own outside of God, worth having. I want to think like God thinks. I want to feel what God feels. I want to speak like God speaks. I want to do what God is doing. What is God doing? God is healing the sick, the oppressed, the downhearted. God is loving the people. God is delivering and rescuing those weighed down with sins and addictions. God is rescuing those trapped in the chains of darkness and setting them free. And He's looking for a few good men and women to help Him do His work in the earth, and getting ready for His soon return. Are you one of them? Are you ready now to lay aside the things of this world, and begin the greatest adventure you have ever had in your entire life?? I'm not just talking to non-Christians, but I'm talking to Christians.
Christian means anointed one. An anointed one wants what God wants. Do you want what God wants with all of your heart, so much so you can't stand it?? If you don’t, then ask God to change you to where you want only what He wants. Nothing else matters anyway. Nothing but God matters. He wants to whisk us away to a great adventure in faith. He honestly does.
There is a better way to live, then your mind can even imagine. You don't have to be sick anymore. You don't have to be afraid anymore. You don’t to be poor anymore. You don’t have to be lonely anymore. You don't have to be sorrowful anymore. You don't have to be depressed anymore. You don't have to sin anymore. That's right. You don't have to sin anymore. You don’t have to be under that addiction anymore. You can be set free. How bad do you want this?? What are you willing to do for this? Are you willing to give God ALL of your life, not just an hour a day, but all of your day? Are you? Then get ready for the greatest outpouring of the glory of God, which you have ever experienced before. Get ready for your mind to be astounded, as God takes us up to new heights. I believe this revival of glory that has come into the land, is the last revival before our King returns to claim His own.
