There are times that things happen in our lives, and we feel like God is taking too long to bring us into victory or deliverance, and we desire strongly to take the situation into our own hands. It is best that we hold out until our change comes because when we interfere with Godís works, we are confirming that we donít have the faith in God that we should; and, we are messing up what God is trying to do, which makes deliverance and victory take longer to come.
So often, Satan tries to force us into moving before the hand of God moves because he wants our deliverance to take longer than necessary to further encourage doubt and frustration; but, we must hold steadfast and be unmovable. I encourage each of us today, that regardless of what we are going through or facing, to stand still to see the salvation of the Lord. The Lord sees your situation, and He will step in right at the needed time.
There are times that we need those ďon timeĒ experiences to strengthen our faith in God, and to let us know that God is still and will always be in control. This is not the time, nor is it the place to give up, but itís the time to hold on and be strong in the Lord. People will say things about you and do things against you, and coming to your own defense seems to overtake you, whereas it places you in a hurry to get this person or the situation straight. But, itís best to just hold out until God shows up and shows out.
I know that waiting is difficult at times because you feel deep within yourself that you need deliverance and victory right now. You feel like the enemy and his imps are getting the very best of you, but just hold out. The only way that we are able to hold out and hold on is to ask God to help us. We must ask that He bridle our tongues and helps us stand still because we are weak humans, and we are known for running off at the mouth, saying the wrong thing at the wrong time, and we are known for jumping the gun.
Donít worry about how things look, God is looking at it through His eyes, and His view is the only view that counts. Satan blindsides us and makes things appear worse than they really are. A lot of times we jump the gun to prove ourselves to people. People will think and believe what they want to believe about you, regardless of how well they know you. People, what they say, what they think, and what they do against us should be of no concern to us because the only one that matters is God. As long as you are right with God, everything is alright and will be alright.
Mamma can say all day long that you will never amount to anything, but if God has called you to be a mighty man or woman of God, her words are in vein. Look at David Ė his father was so sure that David wasnít the one that God was calling to be anointed and appointed as King that he didnít even take David with him to meet with Samuel, but look what happenedÖSamuel told Jesse to go get the son that he had left behind because none of the ones that he had brought with him was the one; and, David was truly the one that God had chosen as King.
Therefore, regardless of how people are looking at you, God is looking at you through His eyes, and His eyes are the only eyes that matter. David didnít have to get all up in his dadís face to prove that he was worthy, but through is obedience and humility, God brought him forth as the man He had called him to be. Therefore, let people talk, and let them do as they please; you just hold out until your day of victory shines forth as a bright light for all men to see.
I know that a change is coming soon in my life
In spite of my many experiences with heartache and strife.
I know that deliverance and healing is at hand;
Therefore, on Christ the Solid Rock, I shall faithfully stand,
Trusting and believing that my prayers are being heard,
And having complete faith in Godís word.
Although it seems as if deliverance is far way,
Lord, help me to hold out and hold on from day-to-day.
When I am consumed with frustration and doubt,
Lord, help me to hold out
Because I know that Your will is whatís best for me,
And, all things are working to make me the person I should be.
When it seems that I canít get ahead regardless of how hard I try,
Help me to hold out until you stop by
To make a way where there seems to be no way
And bring forth the light of a brand new day.
When Iím burdened because of failure and disappointment,
Help me to hold out, and give me strength
To hold out and hold on until my help comes;
For, You are where all of my help comes from.
When darkness and sorrow seem to surround me,
Help me to hold out to receive the victory.
When I desire to speak out in my own defense,
Help me to hold out until You prove my innocence.
When revenge settles in my heart with determination
Because of deceit, mistreatment and manipulation,
Help me to hold out until My avenger stands for me
And gives me complete, undeniable, unchangeable victory.
Lord, help me to hold out and hold on;
For, when I am weak, You are strong.

This is the time: (1) To take up our shield of faith and quench the fiery darts of doubt, fear and despair (Eph 6:16); (2) To build our most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit (Jude 20); (3) To plead our blood covenant with Christ (Rev 12:11) by which we have protection and salvation; (4) To recall and testify of our past victories in the Lord (Rev 12:11); and (5) To offer our sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving (Heb 13:15; Isaiah 54:1), amongst other faithful and true sayings as contained in the Holy Bible. Job held on and was vindicated in the fullness of time even though his friends had reviled him. Hannah, who had no children initially, turned to God and became fruitful. It’s time to stop listening to our own thoughts and advice from others which are contrary to God’s word. Let’s seek the face of God, be still before Him, and let the Holy Spirit speak to us through the word of God. “Now to Him Who, by (in consequence of) the (action of His) power that is at work within us, is able to (carry out His purpose and) do superabundantly, far over and above all that we (dare) ask or think (infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or dreams) -- To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen (so be it). Eph 3:20~21 (Amp.) Furthermore, our Lord Jesus Christ, having endured the cross and overcame death, is now seated at the right hand of God the Father (Heb 12:2), interceding for us (Heb 7:25).
