Welcome to Louisiana whether born or on a visit !
Life is great here whether by choice or design
I was born here , so for me it is devine
Many come to visit to see what they can see
Tourist spend their money. We Thank them gleefully
We provide them hospitality, and give it abundantly
Maybe thats why they come here and stay for awhile
And they then return home , perhaps with a golden smile
Please come back to visit and stay again in the future
You will be welcomed since it is part of our nature
There is lots to see here , and so much to do
God has blessed us all greatly, enough to share with you
God we thank you so greatly for all that you do
We share the Love you gave us in all the things we do

You gave our land so much beauty , we can hardly believe our eye
It takes all year to see it a season at a time
Spring unfolds the beauty one flower at a time
So many different colors, I cannot believe its mine
There is no rhyme nor reason just blessings all the time
The farm lands are fertile the dairys are immense
Thank you Lord you bless us one season at a time
The waters are a blessing for a drink and for food
You taught us how to cook it and taught us how to share.

Because Lord You gave it, perhaps thats why we care
We worry about our neighbor whether near or far
They come here to visit by plane or by car
Miles may separate us but for them we still care
They are our family whether born or on a visit
You are our brother no matter where you are !!
