By.....someone...NOT by ME!
With only ONE...I cause more grief
Than ANYONE should see.
I never 'see' the words I SPEAK...
They vanish in the air...
But when the wrong ones...DO escape...
Well, guess Who's standing there!
It's better not to speak...in haste...
Avoid a 'verbal caper'...
First, put it down in black and white,
For THIS....use pen and paper.
Then when I crawl between the sheets
To have a restful night
If dreams appear...of 'thousand tongues'...
I hope I'll use them...RIGHT!
