It's true! Each and every one of us is 99.999% empty space; nothingness. And only .0001% is anything--that 'anything' being energy.
If you take a trip down memory lane to high school chemistry (for some of us - like me, that's a LONG trip) you'll probably remember your teacher telling you about atoms, molecules, cells and stuff like that. And that teacher probably told you that everything in the world, including ourselves, is nothing but pure energy--energy in motion. They were right.
Each and every atom makes up molecules (clusters of atoms). The cells in our bodies are just communities of molecules. Cells are living organisms. Our bodies are so complexly constructed (thanks to God), that all of these infinitely small atoms can make up our entire being.
We have BILLIONS of cells in our bodies, all formed from TRILLIONS of atoms. Each and every one have a precise function. Some cells join to form our lungs for example, some our heart and so on.
What's really incredible is that our cells that are living, can also die. But before a cell dies it 'clones' it self. However, because our bodies are continually taking in outside toxins; like smog, smoke, pesticides, bacteria and countless other foreign 'atoms', our bodies--and cells become diseased.
Gradually, our bodies are not reproducing the 'perfect' cells that we originated with anymore, but are cloning the diseased cells. Think of it like making a copy of a letter. If there are smudges or 'imperfections' in what you are copying, than the duplicate shows those and sometimes propounds them, each copy becoming progressively more flawed.
So what do we do? We live in a polluted and toxic world. We can't live in a bubble. What we have to do is first cleanse our internal cells. There are many natural products on the market that are excellent for this; I personally recommend products by "Natures Secret". Cleansing our 'insides' is not a one step or one day process. And it is not something you do once and are done with it forever. It is a continual process.
Once you've begun cleansing and are taking in healthy foods and substances, you are still exposed to toxins. So to help combat these and to promote healthy cell reproduction, it is imperative that you supplement your body with natural herbs, vitamins and minerals. Just like when the oil in your car gets dirty, you don't just change the filter and expect all the left over oil in the car to be perfectly clean. You have to start fresh with clean oil and a clean filter.
You and I both know that the foods we buy at the store have been chemically treated. Whether it be pesticides on our vegetables and fruits or hormones and steroids in our meat, we are ingesting chemicals and toxins in everything we eat. Even if it's fresh or home grown. So a lot of the nutrients are voided by the chemicals so we have to replace those nutrients with vitamins, herbs, minerals.
But like with everything else; if you get serious about taking care of your body and start taking vitamins or herbs, you are hit with a barrage of different companies producing them and different claims to how good they all are. So it takes time to study, research and experiment with different products to see which ones seem to have the most benefit to your body.
Keep in mind also that not all herbs, vitamins and minerals are pure and natural just because the label says so. Also, it's important to know what combinations you are taking. Some herbs don't mix well with others. And many herbs can be down right dangerous if taken with prescription or over the counter drugs. So always research! A great book to get this info from is "Prescription for Nutritional Healing".
If you are serious about becoming well and healthy, it's worth the investment to study and explore!
Here's to your health!
