Donít you think if we took all our blessings,
And gathered them one by one,
There would be way too many, to hold in our arms,
When all was said and done?
I challenge you to take a good look,
At your lives, and all that you truly love.
Gather your blessings in a basket,
As you thank the Lord above.
I thank the Lord for my family and friends,
My good neighbors, and co-workers too.
I especially thank Him for my parentís love,
And all they seem to do.
Thank you for the stranger Lord,
That helps for no known reason,
Along with my job, and health and food,
And even for the seasons.
I thank you for our pastor Lord,
And for answering our prayers,
To send us a good preacher,
Who not only preaches, but also cares.
Thank you Lord for my church family,
Who through Godís grace, make this church the best,
For the folks who join us each day,
As visitors and guests.
Yes, I have baskets full of blessings,
But the best blessing is plain to see.
Itís the blessing that God gave us,
When Jesus paid our debt at Calvary.
Thank you Lord with all my heart,
For your blessings that get me through.
Iím rich as I could ever be,
With my basket full of blessings from You!
