Everyone desires some type of peace;
But, somehow trouble and turmoil doesn’t seem to cease.
Is it possible to experience the peace we seek
When the survival of the world seems so bleak?
The President plays God by pursuing peace in others’ lives
Excusing himself by saying he sees their needs and hears their cries;
But, he must acknowledge and accept,
That there is no peace where God’s commandments are not kept.
There is no peace for those who don’t serve the true and living God;
For, their own belief and denial make their ways hard.
We desire peace, but we separate church and state.
When a kingdom is divided, destruction and confusion is its fate.
We are divided within ourselves alone;
Therefore, there is no peace on our jobs and in our homes.
We worship God in spirit and in truth on Sunday;
And can’t seem to comprehend that God’s service isn’t meant for one day.
Serving God requires continuous effort and is a daily process,
And by legally separating Him from parts of our lives, we are denying ourselves access
To peace, happiness, love and joy;
Instead, creating pain, heartache, turmoil and strife for every man, woman, girl and boy.
Yes, the President feels that he’s accomplished something so great
Never realizing that he’s increased animosity, revenge and hate
Among people who cannot experience freedom and peace
Because the spiritual war within does not cease.
No one can offer such a nation peace in this life
Until they have been introduced and offered an opportunity to know Christ.
Therefore, if the President desires to offer peace for this world,
He must make more ways to offer Christ to every man, woman, boy and girl.
He must stop trying to move Him by taking away ways to communicate with Him and His name;
For, these acts are what we should blame
For the attack on our country because we are not innocent.
We have sinned against God, and it’s time that we repent.
God is calling us to repentance for fornication, murder, stealing, and adultery;
And we continue to offer freedom for abortions and homosexuality.
In spite of the many lives lost and sacrificed in the war,
You haven’t gained victory, and don’t realize you are so far
Because you don’t realize that this battle isn’t yours, but belongs to the Lord;
And, because you have chosen to fight it, you are making peace for us all so hard.
There is no peace; no, we are nowhere near;
For, your efforts are not of God and in no way, sincere.
You chose to go to war to take revenge yourself;
But, revenge belongs to God and no one else.
There is no way you can offer peace for others in this life
Because we can only experience true peace at the return of Christ;
For, He is the Prince of Peace;
And, when He returns, all war will cease.
Therefore, it is time that we accept what is pure and true,
And that is God chastises us for the wrong that we do.
America is being chastised for its disobedience;
So, we might as well stop proclaiming our innocence.
