Your spouse seems to be in a complete rage,
And you just want to toss him in an animal’s cage;
But, wait before you make an assumption of what’s going on
Or make a determination as to why he’s treating you so wrong.
Look a little closer so that you can see;
Look a little closer before you decide you want to be free
From such cruelty, incompassion and inconsideration.
Look a littler closer to see the architect of this creation
Of hurt, pain, suffering, and disappointment
Before you decide to face it with bitterness, anger and resentment.
Look into the heart of the matter at hand
So that you can clearly understand
That it’s not the person whom you see with the natural eye,
But through these actions, there’s someone inside wailing with a loud cry
That he needs help, deliverance from something that has him bound;
So, look a little closer before you criticize him and put him down.
There is a part of this person that needs healing, strength and power;
Therefore, you need to call upon your source of strength; your strong tower.
For, God is the only one that can come in
And cleanse this one you love of the spirit within.
Your supervisor and co-workers seem to be on your back,
And you ponder as to why they come with such a vicious attack.
Before you assume that they don’t like or are against you,
Take a closer look to find what is true;
For, it is not the person that wants you to fail,
But it’s a spirit that derived from the pits of hell;
And, it has been commissioned to tempt you with anger, resentment and hate;
So, take a closer look before you decide to get anyone straight.
Their efforts is a cry out to you for deliverance;
For, Satan has attacked their weakness, vulnerability and innocence.
When, in life, things seem to go all wrong,
And it seems that you are left to stand on your own
Because family and friends don’t understand
And won’t make efforts to lend a helping hand;
When the supervisor and co-workers seem to be against you
And make you fail at the things you try to do
To be successfully employed;
It’s best that you remain focused to avoid
Falling into Satan’s trap of deceit
So that your fellowman’s need, you’re open to meet.
There is something God wants you to do
To help that person make it through
The problems he’s facing and the burdens he’s baring.
You cannot do it without actually caring
Enough to look beyond faults to see needs;
Therefore, you must look to the source of his deeds.
So, look a little closer to understand
That God’s not making you a victim, but a helping hand.
