I have no wings of any size
Or shape, to make them 'work,'
There's no appendage lifting me,
No talent or some quirk;
But there are times, in buoyant peaks,
It seems I hardly try
To break the bond of gravity....
Yet, in such times....I FLY!
In looking down, I see my feet
Are firmly on the ground;
But in my 'spirit'...I'm 'up there'
Just looking all around
To see if others notice that I'm
Cruising through the sky....
Or even if they care at all
That I have learned to FLY!

Oh yes, YOU CAN FLY!! And I'm with ya!! Neat poem! Very unique and uplifting!
Interesting poem, Howard. One thing; I see you posted 15 articles at one time. This pushes your works, as well as the others who posted before you, off the last 10 posted site into the archives. Your best chance to be read is on the last 10 submitted site. You might want to read this article about how to post on FW. Many Blessings. http://www.faithwriters.com/article-details.php?id=20274
