Here are the gifts God has given me from a busy desert. Three squiggely clouds Hung above the setting sun The day’s signature All roads in this town Dead-end between bald mountains And crimson red cliffs An ocean of hills Flow from the foot of the mountains Spill into the plains A twist of black limbs Rises up from the green bushes Back scratcher for wind A dusting of moss Scattered over desert sands Imprint of the rain Over there!
