Storm clouds swirl up overhead,
Heavy, dark and ominous dread,
Crackeling lightening zig-zag far,
From east to west blazes the sparks.
Rumblings heard from behind the hills,
Sheets of rain dash down and fill,
Gullies and trails in the dark,
neighborhood streets and tree-lined parks.
Don’t be frightened, and don’t you fear,
The Creator is in the midst and very near,
His rain of anointing fills the clouds,
To shower down blessings to remove all doubt.
Puddles gather to form the rings,
To reach out and share to each living thing,
Bringing healing to the depths of your souls,
Releasing praise to the Father who loves us so.
