We keep lots of records! Tax records, driving records, and insurance records. (Lets go one deeper) We keep lots of tallies as well! Who hurt you and how often they did it,how many times your boss has put you down, how many times your colleague has called in sick or so they said! Then, we look at the burned-in truths that Satan tries to get us to live in daily! Rejection, abandonment, guilt and then SCREAMS at us the lie of freedom in them!
I can hear Jesus saying ..... "Record? Tally? Unforgiveness?
"What's That?!!!! "
Living! Yeah, I think that's what Jesus did best!
Psalm 130:3-6 NIV If you, O LORD, kept a record of
sins, O Lord, who could stand? But with you there is
forgiveness; therefore you are feared. I wait for the LORD,
my soul waits, and in his word I put my hope. My soul waits
for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning, more
than watchmen wait for the morning.
