Healing
I have written this poem as an expression of the pain I have experienced as a result of my divorce. I have not really been able to express myself. Then in a moment of prayer I found my peace as the father spoke in his lovely way, "My child it is okay. I created the rain and I am a comforter after the storm." God is in control. May God bless all who read this by knowing God is in control. We don't have to be strong all the time, he knows everything anyway.
Yesterday
I came in from the rain
What a relief it was
for I had been
drowning in my pain
In the tears
of wasted time
and lost love....
Well, what I thought
was love...
and now,
Now I will dry off
In the comfort
and warmth
of my Father's love
who tells me
It's okay
as he reminds me
When I am weak
he is strong...
