Birdies
Tic tock, tic tock
Do birds know that
there are clocks?
Can they tell when
there’s a breeze,
it will make
some folks sneeze?
As they stand
upon tree twigs.
do they do
the birdie jig?
When the sun sets real low,
fine feathered friends put on a show
They chirp and chatter with delight,
then take refuge for the night
So when you’re outside
on a pretty day,
ask the birdies
to come by and play!
